Stefan spent his early years in Switzerland, near his home at the foot of the beautiful Engadin Alps of Switzerland, he became an apprentice at 16, and later went on to train and pursue a full-time professional career in the culinary arena.
He quickly rose through the ranks in some of the best hotels in his native Switzerland and around the world, including in the USA, Dubai, Manila Bangkok and now Abu Dhabi for.

During his twenties and early thirties he worked at hotels in his native Switzerland, Dubai

Palm Springs, Manila Phuket, Bangkok and Abu Dhabi Trepp was appointed Executive Chef in 2012 at Bangkok's Mandarin Oriental Hotel at the tender age of 32.

In November 2015, Stefan Trepp, was named "Schweizer Star Im Ausland" (Swiss Star Abroad) 2015 by the prestigious 2015 Swiss Gault & Millau restaurant guide. The accolade is bestowed annually on a Swiss-born chef working abroad according to culinary achievements.

Stefan is an Executive Chef of today's time, innovative and motivated, an inspirations to his team and colleagues. Always looking out for the next trend , making sure to stay globally connected with professionals and industry leaders.
